All of us here cherish fond memories of books from our past. We know what it means to meet once again with a long lost book friend. When we started our book search service years ago, we were delighted to have finally found a remedy for the awful disappointment of telling a customer, "Sorry, the book you want is Out-of-Print." Now we say, "Shall we do a book search for you?"
A good book search can be a complex process. Our experience in the book trade is an invaluable asset. We do an exhaustive search, taking into account the specific desires of each customer for each title. Hardcover, paperback? First edition? Not the one published in 1936, but the revised edition from 1942? A copy to replace the one your child borrowed from the school library and lost? Even when we have only a wisp of a memory to use as a clue, our research often can find the very title our customer is after.
There are so many things to know relating to edition, binding, content, and that most critical of all factors, condition. When we research for a title for you we carefully sort through all the available copies, and translate the sometimes arcane antiquarian nomenclature into language you can understand. We then provide you with a detailed and explanatory short list that enables you to make an informed choice. Our extensive search can include the stock of thousands of booksellers around the world. We have located books as far away as Germany, South Africa, Canada, and Australia.
There is no charge for our research. Only if you make selections based on our search results are you committed to purchase. Our search fee is included in the quoted price. Books that do not match the seller's description are fully returnable.
We encourage you to try our Out-of-Print Book Search service. It's fun and easy, and you may soon have that long-sought-after volume. Click the Orders/Information link below to submit an inquiry or request.
