Kathleen Damiani has always been interested in the goddess Sophia, the personification of divine wisdom in the religions of Western civilization. Intrigued by Sophia's systematic removal from organized religion, she spent her graduate career in pursuit of historical data on Sophia. She'll give a talk on her work and her writing at Gallery Bookshop Friday March 2nd at 6:30.

Damiani is the author of Molly O'Brien & the Mark of the Dragon Slayer, a new novel for young readers that features Sophia.
